Sergey Pavlovich Kim is the youngest Manager of the Company, having passed the way from a common engineer to the First Manager.  

Having graduated technical education in the Atyrau Oil and Gas Institute, Sergey Pavlovich Kim started his professional carrier in the Company in 2006 and within two years rose from a common specialist to the Manager of Tengizchevroil LLP projects. During his work as a Team Leader (2008-2018), he successfully passed the certification of the Kazakhstan Project Management Association, proved himself as a competent manager and an excellent organizer of design and survey works. During this period, projects of various complexity, including international projects in the Netherlands and the UK, were successfully completed under the leadership of Sergey Pavlovich Kim.


In May 2018, by decision of the Board of Directors, Sergey Pavlovich Kim was appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board of “SRDI “Caspiymunaygas” JSC. Using his managerial potential and knowledge in the management of effective solution of set tasks, in a relatively short period of his tenure as the Chairman of the Board, Sergey Pavlovich Kim was able to achieve significant positive changes in the company’s activities, which day by day bring the Company to a new level. The peculiarity of his work, as the Head of a large design institute, was an innovative approach in all areas of the production process and an openness to bilateral dialogues, an attentive attitude to the Company’s employees.

Sergey Pavlovich Kim was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation of NC “KazMunayGas” JSC, the Certificate of Appreciation and medal of “KAZENERGY”, the anniversary medal “120 Years of Kazakh Oil”, numerous certificates of appreciation and letters of gratitude of the Company for his long and conscientious work and great personal contribution to the development of oil and gas and energy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a successful leader, he promotes a healthy lifestyle in the team, taking an active part in charity and sporting events.

Design documentation approval process:

•Preparation of terms of reference
•Obtaining optimal technical conditions for connecting the facility to utility system
•Obtaining an Architectural and Planning assignment in the Department of Architecture and Urban Development 
•Carrying out of public hearings
•Approval of motor road projects with the Policy Department
•Approval of projects in Water resources inspection
•Approval of design solutions in the Department of Industrial Safety
•Development and expertise of Declarations of industrial safety with obtainment of registration numbers
•Carrying out of Energy expertise
•Preparation of traffic diagram with indication of material delivery points.
•Approval of a Plot plan with the Chief Architect
• Analysis of detailed documentation for compliance with standards in the field of architecture and construction, environmental protection and sanitary-epidemiological welfare
•Uploading of design documentation to the web-portal of Comprehensive extradepartmental expertise
•Work with experts, solving the arising issues, approval of technical and economic indicators
•Obtaining a positive expertise conclusion

•Obtaining a coupon for commencement of construction and assembly works.
